In February of 2025 I got an itch for another Honda Goldwing. There were plenty of white 2024 models available, but I wanted a dark gray metallic models. I found this leftover 2023 Black Goldwing at Southern Honda Powersports in Chattanooga, TN and snatched it up.

I did not change the final drive oil in the first service at 480 miles. After reading reports of some owners finding their final drive oil levels low from the factory, I decided to go ahead and change it rather than wait until the recommended 3-year interval.
The FD oil was definitely a bit low by 1-1.5 ounces.

According to the official owner's manual, the first official service doesn't have to be performed until 4000 miles, but given this is effectively a two-year old bike, I decided to change the oil at the typical 600-ish mile mark.
